Newsflash July 2017
Play you part … get involved
Whether it’s sponsorship or enjoying a praise and worship session next month, this news flash is an appeal to you to get involved in the PE Emmaus Community. It’s fun, it reconnects you with fellow Christians and it blesses you abundantly.
The choice of involvement is entirely yours, but you can start with …
Let’s welcome the young people of Flights 9 and 10 at their post-flight Jol on Saturday 29 July at St Luke’s Church, Palmridge, at 11am. Praise and worship and testimonies from some of the 43 butterflies will be followed by a bring-‘n-share lunch.

Please return your Emmaus tins, full or not, at the Gathering so that we can grow our bank balance in supporting our Walks and Flights.
Be a team member for September Walks
With training and team formation for the next set of Walks on 12/13 August and again on 26/27 August, we are still seeking a number of team members, particularly for the Men’s Walk. The Walks are taking place on 7 to 10 and 14 to 17 September for the men and women respectively.
This is your opportunity to serve and continue to grow in God’s grace. Go to http://www.pe-emmaus.co.za/index.php or reply to this mail if you’d like to know more.
Do not delay in submitting your pilgrim applications for the Walks. Be bold in approaching those whom you have discerned to be ready to be a pilgrim. Please note the cost is R900 – a small investment over four days in which lives are transformed to God’s glory. Please go to the website for the form: http://www.pe-emmaus.co.za/applicationforms.php
Praise and worship
Dust off your guitar, shine up your brass instruments and warm those vocal chords for a Praise and Worship session at St John’s Methodist Church on Saturday 5 August at 10am. It’s here that the winner of the Karoo lamb raffle will be drawn. If you’d still like a ticket, contact Viv Barton on 082 880 5099.
