Newsflash January 2018
An exciting Emmaus year awaits ...
May 2018 be a special one for you and yours, and for our community moving forward in nurturing individuals towards growing God’s kingdom here on earth. We are excited at the prospect, with two sets of Walks planned for 2018 and many fellowship opportunities. We encourage you to join us on this journey in whichever way the Lord leads you.
Chinese food and bingo evening
We’re kick-starting our fellowship with the above event:
Where: St John’s Anglican Church, Church Road, Walmer
When: Saturday 3 February
Time: 6pm for 6.30pm
Tickets: R100 for authentic Chinese fare and bingo with prizes
To offset costs for this event, any offers of prizes, but also of ingredients of chicken, beef, onions, peach and soya sauce for the food, will be warmly received.
Contact me on 0833549793 or email@example.com or any other PE Emmaus Board member for tickets or offers of donations. Why not gather a group of friends for a fun evening with great food?
Our second annual camping weekend will be held from 23 to 25 February at Sitrusoewer near Kirkwood in the Sundays River Valley. Contact Charmaine Potgieter at firstname.lastname@example.org or 084 929 2884 to book your campsite at R100 per person per night. This is a relaxing weekend for the whole family with no formal agenda. Let’s fill the entire campsite as we did last year!
