2018 gains momentum
IT IS full steam ahead for the remainder of 2018 with several fellowship events, a second set of walks in September and planning for the EMSA AGM and our community’s 20th birthday celebrations in 2019.
In a bid to be better prepared to the forthcoming walks, we are appealing to the community to get team applications in by 20 June as the first team selection meeting takes place on 23 June. We have received 23 and 9 applications for the women’s and men’s walks respectively. We need about 35 volunteers for each walk so please go to https://www.pe-emmaus.co.za/teams.php to fill in your form soonest. The cost is R950.
The dates for Walk 73 (Theodore Hockey) are September 6 to 9 and Walk 74 (Erica Sing Key), September 13 to 16 for training on 4 and 5 August and 18 August.
Similarly, we are appealing for the community to get pilgrim sponsorship forms in soonest – at least by early August to allow for better preparations. See date and form details above. This is the last set of walks in a year, as we will be hosting Chrysalis Flights in June next year, and walks again only in September 2019.
