Investing in tomorrow – sponsorship for Chrysalis

The deadline for joining the team and/or sponsoring a young person (aged 17 to 24) on the Chrysalis Flights is less than a month away.

And so we’re appealing to you do not to delay, but to invest in a young person’s life today. Like the Emmaus Walk, God’s empowering tool of Chrysalis changes lives. The support, commitment and love invested in a young person today has long-term benefits for both the individual and in growing God’s kingdom.

The weekend is especially adapted to meet the needs of young people, empowering them with leadership and other skills while having lots of fun. For more go to: http://www.pe-emmaus.co.za/applicationforms.php

The Flights are taking place on: The training weekends are on 3/4 and 24/25 June at Erica School in Mount Croix and the cost is R720 for team members and R620 for caterpillars.

Emmaus Reunion Tea
Thank you for your positive response to the first Emmaus Ladies’ Reunion Tea, taking place at St John’s Anglican Church in Walmer at 3pm on Saturday, 27 May.

15 former lay directors, dating back to the PE Community’s very first walk in 1999, are hosting tables as a means of giving us all an opportunity to reconnect in an informal environment. Tickets are still available at R75. Contact the registrar@pe-emmaus.co.za for more details. We’d really love to see you there.

Music Trivia
Save Saturday 10 June in your diaries for the next PE Emmaus Community music trivia evening. Tickets for tables of 10 are already available. Please contact Jacquie Pullen on outreach@pe-emmaus.co.za to get yours.
