AGM, Africa Virtual Gathering, EMSA AGM

Greeting to you, beloved Emmaus Community





Saturday was exciting, informative, a wonderful experience of technology and  being able to conduct Emmaus business efficiently and quickly before moving on to the virtual Gathering.
The most important aspect of the AGM was voting on new members to the Board to take up the portfolios that were being vacated at the end of this year.

So firstly, we are saying goodbye at the end of the year to the following members whose faithfulness and love for Emmaus was shown in their commitment to maintaining the integrity of this special ministry.

We thank you and thank God for giving you to us!!!!

The PE Emmaus virtual gathering was amazing, and those of you who were hesitant to join missed out on a beautiful time of worship, listening to a powerful testimony from our in-coming CSD, Rev. Shirmell Newman and meeting up with other community members (it was only for an hour).    But thanks must go to Karen du Preez for her professional and efficient running of the event via Zoom, its smooth running and the choice of worship songs by the original artists that we could so easily join in.

Can you remember how it felt to be together at a gathering? How you were inspired by the love that surrounded you, the sound of the voices around you singing with so much energy and passion, seeing your friends from your Walk…...    So all of you who are reading this, please know that the next PE virtual gathering is a MUST to join – you don’t realise what you have missed out on!
 


The Upper Room Emmaus Ministries invites you to be part of an Africa Virtual Gathering, via Zoom, on:

Saturday 30^th October
Time:  7.00pm to 8.30pm
This is a wonderful opportunity for all communities to gather and celebrate.   Why not invite Emmaus friends to your home to be part of this Gathering which will include:

• Praise and Worship from all over Africa
• Testimonies from Fourth Day witnesses
• Message from the Upper Room
• Question and answer time and announcements

To be held at Rabbuni, Klerksdorp between 4 and 7 November 2021.
Please keep those members of the Board, who will be travelling to Klerksdorp to attend the AGM, in your prayers for travelling mercies.

Pray, too, for the wisdom and will of God to be with all who will be making decisions as they plan the way foward for EMMAUS in 2022.
 
May the God of your life, soul, your heart and mind fill you with His presence and surround you with His love.  May He continue to remind you of that love that is so freely given to you, that is will be energized and rekindled within you, so that all you meet may feel and be embraced by that divine, glorious love!
